I have a Senseo and I like the variety from day to day. The K-cups are nice too.

I enjoy mine quite well. I suggest getting one that brews 3 different sized cups. Start out with various sample boxes. I use Folgers Black Silk, Newman’s, two different 8o’clock brews. DW likes the “fancy” brands. There are some really nasty tasting ones out there.

Agreed. I used a Keurig for years and by far its the fastest way to make a cup of coffee and if you like flavored coffee one of the best. The Aeropress however makes the best tasting cup of coffee I had and it takes maybe 30 seconds longer.

I only make two cups for myself everyday with my drip coffeemaker, so it never goes to waste.

I only have one cup of coffee a day. Now, I might top it off 6...8...12 times but it's the same cup!!

The coffee variety I’ve come to prefer, after a LOT of trial and error, is Folgers, believe it or not.

I don't believe it .. LOL

Gackkk.....I hate Folgers.

I am a huge coffee drinker, thought I would love it! It is VERY
EXPENSIVE for the cups, I purchased the cups you can make yourself
but it was a pain in the neck to make the cup EVERY time! If you do not
drink a lot of coffee it would be fine, but on my days off I drink about 2
pots a day! Not good for a coffee junkie!

Rubbish. All you need is a french press and a bag of ground Sumatra dark coffee (Starbuck’s or Peets) from the supermarket. Perfect, rich but not bitter coffee every time.

Absolutely true. (I'd favor Peet's).

Love it. Love the Carabu coffee. Get good prices for the coffee at Sam’s Club.

I confess

Nespresso addict here

For the money....they beat keurig and starsux...cost 25% more but worth it

No question

I have the combi unit with milk frother kettle too

I reccomend it 110%

A spinal tap11

Only caveat....best to order the coffee capsules from nesprsso....nestle

50-60 cents per lungo

You get used to coffee with a la crema finish and you won’t go back to cafe Americano

Enjoy..

Since I quit smoking 25 years ago...a nice latte or cappucino made onmy counter...not starsux ..

Gets me out ta bed

The kids got us one about 3 years ago and I’ve yet to open the box. My coffee pot at the house is over 50 years old and the one at the ranch house is about 20 years older than that. These are the only two coffee pots I’ve ever owned. With the exception of having to replace the riser tube on the one at the ranch they’ve never let me down. At the house it’s straight and black but when we decide to stay at the ranch it starts with about a finger of good whisky in an old cup my granddad used to use. Go sit out on the porch and watch the sun come up over the hill’s. I’m 64 now and my wife is 54 and she doesn’t plan on retiring just yet but when she does we’ll sell the house in town and move to the ranch full time. I’ll be taking my coffee pot from the house with me, never know when ya need a backup.

I don't like the taste of the coffee from those liquid containers. When we want a single cup, we use an old Black and Decker single cup brewer. It has a reusable filter and you custom make any cup with ease. If you want 6 ounces of coffee - pour 6 ounces in. Nor pre-determined choices. If you want it strong, put a dash more coffee in. Keurig doesn't give the same flexibility - the bigger dose = weaker coffee.

Relatives in Ohio have the Keurig and it sucks - especially as a primary maker as it can take 15 minutes or more to put coffee in front of 4 people and the first person is done when the last person gets the coffee. Did I mention that, after an initial cup or two, the flavor sucks?

I don’t like flavored coffee.

I like coffee unadulterated.

I was at my car dealership a couple of occasions for an extended period of time and used the heck out of the Keurig … it was watered down pablum. Not for me.

Same experience here. I like strong coffee where I taste the bean.

This carafe will be empty in about three hours. I guess if all you want is one cup it's OK.

Spent three days with relatives over Thanksgiving where they had the Keurig. Coffee was nothing special and all I could think about was their smart marketing to get people to buy one cup at a time. Sort of like a cheap HP printer with very expensive ink.

I got one as a gift. I use a perk on the stove with hard water here in my hermit cave. Mr Coffee gets clogged up.

Now I buy fancy water in a plastic jug to go with expensive coffee in tiny plastic jugs to pour in my high priced small cup making electrical machine.
And I use it once or twice a day after firing up the stoveperc. But I like the merlitti? recommendation.

I keep the (Folgers?) Black Silk cups around for large cups of coffee because it’s very strong.

Love the Keurig because we have lots of guests and, with it, we don’t waste coffee, everyone can choose their favorite, and using it instead of a traditional coffee maker keeps the kitchen free of coffee mess.

My favorite coffee taste is still percolator-brewed.
