Not too bad here either, at 42-ish and supposed to get up to nearly 70 this afternoon.

Tomorrow will be a different story. HIGH of mid-30s. Crazy Texas weather! LOL!

The man on the right is Col. Robert "Bob" Bobbitt, a good family friend, who died on Thursday, Jan 2, 2014.

Bob was a veteran of the USAF and the Army Air Corps. He served in WWII, where he flew the "hump," Korea, with F-86's and others, Viet Nam (F-4) and later the F-111. He told me that he had something to do with the design or training on the attack on Libya.

The photo was taken in Korea during the war. The man on the left is my father, who was in OSI.

We understand that services are planned in the Las Vegas area, where Bob made his home after being stationed at Nellis AFB. Our nation has lost another of its true heroes.

Actually, I had my doc prescribe one of those packs that have like seven pills the first day, six the second that you take for about six straight days. So far, the pollen has not been too bad for my sniffles.

Wife is a different matter. She has been hacking like a lifetime smoker since she got back from Kansas on Thursday.
