Kim Jong-un and Lee Seol-ju started the new year visiting Keumsusan Sun Palace where their father and grandfather rested. Lee appeared in North Korean media in a long time, but it seems that there's something she missed before coming in front of her people.

FNKR's source in Sinuiju said on 2nd that "people are wondering why Lee doesn't put the 'portrait pin' on her jacket which is required for everyone to wear the pin anywhere they go."
In fact this is not her first time to either forget or intentionally did not wear the pin which even Kim Jong-un put on his left chest. To North Koreans, the pin itself symbolizes the absolute leadership of Kim family which features the portraits of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il together.
The source said "it is simply unacceptable for ordinary citizens to 'forget to wear the pin', because even students are not allow to enter the school if they do not put it, since it represents the loyalty to the Kim family. When you are found missing the pin, you would be harshly punished."
"Some people said 'she might refuse to wear it since the pit could ruin her expensive clothes' at market," said the source.

"People complained that even 70 year old veteran should put the pin or would be sent to the political prison camp for 'lack of loyalty', but 20 something year old woman forget it, which is just a nonsense."

According the source, the rumor about Lee spread around the Party officials that she refused to wear it saying 'Kim Jong-un is the only person that I would serve but anyone else', and satisfied Kim complimented her as 'the faithful who are very clear about the attitude toward the leader.'

The source said "people laughed about her saying 'she's not the faithful, but the queen of this country. In North Korea, an ordinary citizen without a pin is called 'betrayer' and sent to political prison camp, and a wife of leader without the pin is praised as 'the faithful.'"

She does not worship her husband by putting on his pin, because his spousal performance does not transport her to the realms of blisss generally required by such a woman.
Maybe she will wear Rodman’s pin.
