Top administration officials credit a coordinated effort by the White House and active participation by Secretary of State John F. Kerry with helping American companies ink more weapons contracts. Officials also are lowering regulatory barriers to companies looking to export arms. […]

One of the biggest beneficiaries has been Waltham-based Raytheon Co., the largest employer in Massachusetts and the world’s fifth-largest defense contractor. It reported earlier this month that as much as 30 percent of its annual business will come from foreign sales—the highest it has reported. This is the golden age of air defense. All their neighbors are scared witless of the Persians, Chinese and Norks and they are buying everything they afford from whomever can supply capable and reliable systems. This is what a power vacuum left by the collapse of the Pax Americana looks like.

Good. More American companies should make big profits selling murderous weapons to Islamic maniacs so they can annihilate each other.

I doubt if Obama has anything to do with it.

As for the Swedes, well, what do you expect. In the food chain of degenerate Europeans they are near the bottom.

The defense contractors are simply going where the money is. My company just won a $40 million contract with South Korea. Sequestration and president dumb ass can’t do anything about that!

People are often puzzled by businesses’ support of the Democrat Party. Business wants a free market, right? Wrong, business wants to win and they will readily support the government willing to punish their competitors and reward themselves. They are prepared to pay big bucks for this outcome and the Democrats have made it clear that they are for sale. No better examples than Presidents Clinton and Obama. With no real political philosophy and no moral foundation, Clinton and Obama have been the best friends that big business has ever had.
