Is Paul Ryan Trying To Get a Section 8 Discharge From Politics?
Canada Free Press ^ | 1-5-14 | Mike Henkins

The award winning sitcom M*A*S*H of the ‘70s and early ‘80s was based on a surgical unit in Korea during the Korean War. One of the characters was Corporal Klinger, a soldier who dressed in woman’s clothing hoping to convince the Army he was insane and therefore would qualify for discharge per Section 8 of United States Army Regulations.

I mention this because it is the only explanation that fits Paul Ryan’s agreement to cut military veteran benefits or, at least, the only acceptable explanation for veterans and the Republican Party base.

In December of 2013, Paul Ryan (R.,WI) and Patty Murray (D.,WA)agreed to a spending bill, nicknamed a “Budget Deal”, that among other things eliminated sequester cuts to this years defense budget along with what little claim to victory the Republican Party has won since who knows when. That in itself is a travesty, but the real eye opener is that Ryan proposed cuts to military veteran benefits with the reasoning that the he could no longer allow veterans benefits to continue to “gouge” the defense budget.

Yes, Paul Ryan actually did use the word “gouge”. He also referred to them as “generous” as well.

Everything he's done since the election has been caving to the libs. He's become the consummate turncoat to the Washington ideal.

He needs to stay home and pay for his own gym equipment for a change.......

As far as I’m concerned, he’s dead meat, politically.

There is not a force on this Earth that could convince me to vote for him. I’m done with backstabbing RINOs

Ryan hasn’t been right in the head since he let Rimshot Joe Biden clean his clock in the debate. That had to have been embarrassing.

There is a question that I have never heard being asked that might be enlightening...for Ryan, Roberts... and anyone else who makes decisions contrary to their philosophy.

Are you and/or your family being forced, coerced, threatened or blackmailed in any way by any person, organization, government, or any other entity?

Is your silence about this also forced?

There are thousands of ways to say yes by not saying no.

I will not only be AWOL if Ryan runs, I intend to be in the woods hunting on Election Day 2014, unless there is a verifiable strong conservative candidate on the ticket, I have every intention of boycotting all GOP candidates in 2014. GOPe will not get my vote again. With friends like Ryan, conservatives may as well stay home, Dems are no worse.

Fifty years and $17,000,000,000,000 for the War On Poverty. We need a Peace Dividend from the War On Poverty.

Typical non-vet progressive Rino. He sees no reason to support wounded heroes. He’d rather support illegals to buy their votes.

H’mmm? Has he been called on the carpet by NSA? I know he has already fired off a few weak shots to the Tea Party, how long before he blasts the TP with both barrels? Look at Peter King, same song, different verse.

Does he wear a Warner bra? Is his last wish to be burried in his mother’s wedding dress?

Um, no; not the only reason.

Like Rubio, he was likely drawn into a web and fell for it hook, line & sinker.

They (both sides) have been taking down rising stars they don’t like one by one. You can imagine his advisors had at least a part to play in this. It’s not beyond the scope of things that these cards have been on the table for years.
