“It isn’t supported by a wisp of fact.”

It seems to me if an older worker is laid off, he might as well be six feet under ‘cause his outlook for a new job is pretty stark. Of course, that’s just my personal experience.

Mine too. If you’re over 50 and still have a job, try to keep it for as long as you can. Once you’re unemployed over that age, it’s a lot harder to get another job.
