Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Kinda chilly...no IT’S FReepin’ COLD!!!!
Roads are slushy here but will be ice covered in a short time. Only saw a couple of salt trucks out. They weren’t doing much.
Dang gold or whatever is STILL hanging on! Can’t hold much down either so it’s been fun.
Did you know that Yahoo has removed religious themes from the options on MyYahoo? There are a couple of minor options for Christmas but just ornaments.
I’m in the process of moving a links and building a Protopage start page. It still has Yahoo and Google mail and most of the other things I had on My Yahoo.
In fact a lot of the things you can install are much better than ANYTHING on Yahoo. LOTS of customization with options to put ANY background, widgets and links you want, even personal pictures for backgrounds.
The problem is it isn’t easy. You have to be a geek to do it right.

That is already a couple of hours of work starting from knowing NOTHING about it. Notice I can have a widget displaying the FR thread page....cool! Still have a long way to go but it will be good to stop hitting MyYahoo so much.
Oh well...a couple of cold days and then it warms up for a good time.
BTW anyone else think it’s curious that BO left Moosechelle in Hawaii? ON OUR DIME of course!
Oops...forgot to mention that the Protopage works best on desktop. It works on mobile BUT you don’t get the backgrounds and a lot of the other candy.

I haven’t used Yahoo in a very, very long time. I’ve not used Google at all. I use “Startpage”. It’s supposed to be a private search-engine.
A co-worker has had ‘it’ for a long time. She’s still hacking after a month. It’s not as bad, of course, but just doesn’t seem to want to go away!
I watched part of the Pack/9ers game last night. Those guys w/o the shirtsleeves! ??????!!!! I’ll bet that stadium cleared out FAST after the game ended!
I still believe the Obama/Moochelle union is a marriage of convenience. I still believe he’s gay and they got married to make him look like a typical family man and she married him for the status. Rumor has it that she’s filing for divorce after they leave the White House for good. She’ll go back to Chicago and he’ll go to Hawaii (probably with his ‘good friend’ Reggie Love!)
Mr S got me (well, US!) a new desktop for Christmas. I still prefer a desktop to anything else. Trouble is, the screen is large and it feels like I’m sitting to close to the tv set!
I checked out your proto site. Cool! I refuse to use Yahoo, Google or even Bing. Is there such a thing as a Christian or conservative search engine out there at all?

Well we had the “blast” come thru at about 3:30am ish....howling, roaring winds. We are on a 2hr delay. It’s brutal out there.
sneaks, I too have read they the O’s will divorce....but I see the. Staying together as a Clintontype marriage of power/convenience. Mooch May intact follow in Hillary’s footsteps and run for senate from Illinois (I can very easily see that happening).
And I’m glad KC and the Eagles both lost. Sorts glad about the Bungles losing...didn’t really care about GB game...My prediction SB winner is either Seattle or NOrleans.

I didn't watch the game...it was too cold for mrs p6 and I to just watch, LOL!
Mrs p6's laptop has the 17 inch screen. Yup while it's not huge it is kinda tiring to use. Then again I felt that way with our 55" TV but I've slowly grown used to it. When it was down for a week last Summer I moved out old 36 inch back to the living room. Mrs p6 remarked how could we every have watched something so small!
I don’t know, but it would be great if they did. With everything that’s going on, I really wish we could get their take on things!
Looks like we'll just have to wait and see.

Good morning all..Holidays sure went fast as I worked them and just got a pay that is helping us as we had to scrap to get a better vehicle and now the door won’t close a leak in the radiator plus the window squirters won’t work...but I do have a backup ..money has been tight. P6 who’s backyard? I use www.duckduckgo.com. I hate winter...I sure do MISS Quinn and Rose..
Hope everyone who is under the weather feels better soon. It was snowing pretty good on my way to work (downtown Pgh) this am (about 5 AM). The roads were dicey. I’m not looking forward to the ride home or tomorrow morning. Thankful that my car is garaged. Be safe out there, peeps.
Well this is something I have NOT had in the 25 plus years I have had kids in our public school district. Just got a robocall; a text alert; as well as an email from our district (Westmoreland County) that classes are cancelled for tomorrow.
They are also send information on frostbite and listings of emergency services if loss of power/water
I’m glad they are being proactive...but now just a tad alarmed too.

I grew up in the South Hills and don’t ever remember getting a day off because it was cold. I do remember my dad dropping us off on his way to work so we wouldn’t have to wait on the bus in the cold, though.
