you are unfortunately correct.
right now he feels obligated to make another statement every time he goes into a meeting or comes out of a meeting or goes to the airport or comes from the airport..... anywhere he travels.... so it is one long series of stupid and stupider statements....
if he comes home, he may not feel quite as much pressure to talk quite so much
this would be far better, less embarrassing for America and cause less trouble overseas
Tell him he must recuperate from jet lag, that all this is is a little rest home. Then throw him in and lock the door.
