You can not hand out any religious information in schools especially when it has not been approved by the administration. Would you like someone from a sex cult handing out the how to of sex to your children? It may be their religion but it is not yours.
The teacher was pretty rude if that is actually what was said but I'm not sure of that. I've heard way too many stories that have grown considerably on the way home from school.
