BTW: the waiver Shaw had to sign has been the norm for years, providers routinely get patients who haven’t hit their deductable. From the looks of it, he’ll be one of them.

Where’s the part where he paid his premium?

Signing up is not paying.

Keep in mind the insurers were given seven days to do three months worth of work.

Obamacare is like an amoeba.
It changes form every day.

How any insurance co. can deal with that is beyond me.

Of course the IRS hired 15,000 attorneys and accountants for their part.

If they were paying the cash price and the physician charged them the contract rate, they’d have paid less. In most cases, the physician bills at the full rate, then the insurance company reduces it to the contract rate. It’s too soon for that to have happened. At this moment, I’d suspect most of those folks are either ignorant of the system or administration shills.

The DUers who make just enough to be above the Medicaid cutoff and are therefore getting full subsidies are, in some cases, getting policies for a few bucks a month. I’m sure they think it’s akin to the second coming.

Govt created marketplace blows. This amuses me since Obama trashed the private sector with the you didn’t build that rant.

This is totally unfair to the people who are now paying so much more than they used to. It is torture to the insurance companies and the end users both with its continual complications and changes—nightmare stuff. But worse than that: it is criminal to abuse the sick this way.

I have an idea. Let’s do it over, but not with these circus clowns in charge. Elect Cruz and Trump, and let Trump design the new plan.

let Trump design the new plan.

Yeah, who knows what he'd come up with.

Just go with Tom Price's HR 2300. How can you improve on that?

I agree. I’m also tickled that the gullible insurance companies that went along to get along “are totally surprised” that Obama is now blaming them!

I visit there regularly (kind of like knowing where a snake’s nest is and keeping an eye on it). From all the howling they do you’d think they’re all poverty stricken and living on rice and beans. Just my general impression.
