To moderate republicans, electing a conservative republican is worse than electing a democrat!

While the republican establishment constantly plays the "lesser of two evils" game: "hey, our guy (Jim Jeffords, Arlen Specter, Susan Collins, etc) may be bad, but the democrat is worse!"

But when push comes to shove, the establishment IN REALITY believes that electing conservatives is WORSE than electing democrats.

I’ve talked to several “conservative” freepers who openly gushed about how wonderful her dear ol’ daddy Sam Nunn was. Of course, they “lost a lot of respect for him” when Sam Nunn endorsed Obama. I guess the idea that one pro-abortion gun-grabbing RAT would endorse another pro-abortion gun-grabbing RAT was news to them.

Another freeper pointed out to Impy and I that Sam Nunn was “conservative by DEMOCRAT standards”, but nowhere near as conservative as a typical Republican. That may be a valid argument. The problem was that many Georgia “Republicans” seemed to be happier when the RATs were in the power (Nunn, Miller, Barnes, etc.) than members of “their” party.

Look no further than their representation in the U.S. Senate. If Zell Miller had replaced a far-left marxist like Al Franken, it would be understandable that freepers were pleased with the direction he took that Senate seat. Insetad, he replaced a solidly conservative Republican (Paul Coverdell) and moved the Senate seat to the LEFT, voting to put Tom Daschle in power. They cheered him on every step of the way and were sad to see him go and replaced with a Republican.

I tuned in Sunday to listen to Bill Cunningham who didn’t support primarying liberal Republicans like Boehner. That was it for me listening to this “Libertarian” Republican.

For some Republicans winning with a liberal matters more than principles.

Typical RINOs. All Lugar is doing is trying to ruin America with his Liberal AntiAmerican PAC.

“Nunn also received a donation from another Republican, former Virginia Senator, John Warner.”

Yeah, thanks for nothing, dried up old shit. Just as when you supported Chuck Robb over Oliver North. KMA.

The nation’s wealthiest counties are fueled by federal government spending and are located in Maryland and Northern Virginia next to DC. This has evolved since the advent of LBJ’s Great Society.

Since the removal of Nixon the Left has consolidated a new intelligentsia which has evolved a new aristocracy. This entrenched class of federally monied aristocrats are no longer culturally in touch or share an affinity with the People of the United States.

The cries of conservatives to cut federal government spending is directly connected to the sentiment to remove the aristocracy from power. The power of the aristocracy is fortified and protected by the 16th Amendment and the Federal Reserve Act, both passed in 1913.

The growth of the Federal Reserve has happened largely ‘off-book’ and is now international in reach backed by CIA. It has become an international agency and funds CIA, diplomatic and international military assets worldwide. It is in fact the money engine of a global empire with tentacles into all international banking. Without it existing, much of the world stability and status quo would collapse.

Repealing the 16th Amendment and replacing the income tax with the FairTax and carefully dismantling the Federal Reserve and replacing it with direct Treasury Department operation and direct clear oversight from Congress not the President would begin a rollback on the entrenched aristocracy. But the international implications must be thoroughly understood and managed.

Management of and title to the Empire underlies the contempt the American aristocracy holds for the American ‘indigent’, the ‘country class’, the ‘flyover’ population. The concentration of wealth and power in DC and New York and backed by military, press and intelligence ‘assets’ has given birth whether intended or not to a new tyranny, often described as a ‘soft tyranny’.

The ability for conservatives to move forward and take power peacefully will depend on how well the aristocracy is persuaded that the new class of power players is well versed and aware of how to manage the network of vested interests around the globe.

If Ted Cruz makes it to the Oval Office and maintains his adherence to the principles of the Constitution, he will need to assure the world network that he and his contingent are capable of managing and ‘ruling the Empire’. Hopefully he can do such without being assimilated into mindset of the ruling class. For that he will need a clearly understood list of grievances of the American People which is predominately conservative and a practical basis to address those grievances.

I doubt the NRSC will be supporting Nunn.

Lugar is a traitor who is obviously bitter at his defeat. The disgusting jerk proves why he needed to be defeated in the first place.
