Gin, a favorite of the left. What a surprise!

Gin drinkers are cited as the second most mentioned reason for locking gas caps.

Globally.

Deep down inside gin drinkers would prefer low octane gasoline if it were sold in a fancy bottle.

Gin drinkers lie. They’ll order top shelf in public but drink the cheapest swill at home.

In fact, Gallo Tawny Port, the perennial favorite of the curbside connoisseur, is a few magnitudes up the scale.

If your an FR gin drinker, I still love you guys, but really, gin?

“...but really, gin?”

Boodles makes a fine Bloody Mary.

I only keep it around for those occasions when I feel like making a martini. And I generally go for the inexpensive stuff. If I’m gonna drink my booze without anything mixed into it, I prefer bourbon or a good tequila.

Gin: the only liquor I know that tastes better coming back up that when it is going down.

Gin's generally great.

Seagram's gin is awful. IIRC, it has cilantro in it, and I have a genetically superior sense of taste that allows its bitter aldehydes (those with pedestrian taste buds call it "hypersensitivity") to pierce through and overpower all the other botanicals.

I don't drink the bottom swill of anything, unless it's a tasty value, and I can't think of any bottom priced vodkas, whiskeys or gins that are worth it, unfortunately. (Or is that fortunately?)

That's not to say that you're guaranteed taste value for higher priced booze. I'll pass on Absolut for a lower priced vodka.

I only drink gin when I can’t find my favorite brand of varnish remover.

I get a craving for a gin and tonic the first hot day of the year. After I have one I remember why I don’t drink it the rest of the year.
