WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court has refused a group of doctors' request to block implementation of the nation's new health care law.

Chief Justice John Roberts turned away without comment Monday an emergency stay request from the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons, Inc. and the Alliance for Natural Health USA.

As you know, there was genuine bipartisan support for DOMA. It was signed into law by a Democratic President.

There was no bipartisanship when it came to Obamacare.

“They have to have film of Roberts in the sack with some guy.”

I thought it was about the (dubious) adoption of one of his kids from another country.

There are many cases pending that will allow a strong ruling, either for or against. The process takes time.

To issue a stay on the grounds put forward would merely add to the confusion. Given all the one year waivers, most of the people are not subject to the law yet anyway.

In my mind, the strongest case is by the states who have elected to not have state exchanges and the precise wording was simply ignored. I can not see how the explicit wishes of the Congress plainly stated can be ignored.

That is the shoal rock that will wreck the ship of Obamacare.

Roberts needs to be swinging from the end of a rope tied to a lamppost outside the SC building.

The day will come when the truth comes out about Roberts and why he’s in Obama’s hip pocket; unfortunately the damage will have been done.

That’s my theory — the Obama regime has video & audio of Roberts having sex with boys

It's true that the Obamatons have him blackmailed, but it's probably not related to homosexuality or pedophilia. Much more likely is the threat of exposure of the Roberts family's adoption of Irish children through Central America, which was of questionable legality.

Can you name any major legislation recently(100 years) that has been repealed?I just cant think of anything.

Adkins v Children's Hospital ... 1923 ... Might not be "major," but ... there's one for-instance.

Here's how Rehnquist looks at Supreme Court "Unconstitutional" decisions.

... if it finds the scales evenly balanced, the long-standing "presumption of constitutionality" to which every law enacted by Congress or a state or local government is entitled means that the person who seeks to have the law held unconstitutional has failed to carry the burden of proof on the question.

and ... But if the Court wrongly decides that a law enacted by Congress is not constitutional, it has made a mistake of considerably greater consequence.

Both quotes come from page 279 of "The Supreme Court" by William H. Rehnquist.
