The USA, which is looking like the Whore of Babylon spoken of in Revelation, is marked for punishment and destruction if its citizens do not repent of their sins and trust in the mercy of God.

Little did we know that, when Jimmy Carter pushed the malaise theme back in the 70’s, our national mood and societal decay would one day sink as deep as it is now.
You have forgotten the most egregious thing that happened in the last 50 years: the passage of Roe v. Wade. Our nation turned from a God-fearing nation into one on a par with the ancient Canaanites and other nations that God detested. Why? Because they sacrificed their children to Moloch and other gods. The Lord explicitly tells us in Holy Scripture that He abhors this behavior and we are not to do it. Our nation is merely showing the effects of turning away from the Lord. I don’t want to say that God is cursing us for our behavior because I don’t know that; however, if He were to curse us, I don’t see how it could be any different that what it is now. It does seem to be a fact that the Lord is not blessing us as He did previously. Whether it is cursing us or just the abandoning of us, I don’t know, but for anyone who reads Holy Scripture, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that these things are happening.
Instead of ‘Save The Baby Seals’, bumper stickers should say ‘Save The Baby Humans.’

Well, this is a sad day when I read here on this site that people don’t see our nation changing - and not for the better. I personally agree very much with this article. I also agree that America will not be turned around - it will be destroyed. Hitler’s Nazi Germany was more moral than we are now at the time he came to power. Evil has always existed in our world and nation - that much is true, but it was looked down on and preach against and, more importantly, legislated against. Today it is celebrated from the president on down to people on freerepublic. God is not mocked. I had a friend just visit us. He is former air force and he told me about a non classified briefing he attended with generals, upper officers, and civilian contractors. The speaker’s position was to advise the president on threats to our nation. Even though it was unclassified it was frightening information. I have never seen any of it in the news. So… keep making your daisy chains and pretending like nothing is amiss. I guess those preppers out there must be mistaken (I wonder why they’re doing what they’re doing, surely they’re not seeing any “trends” out there) and we should all just go for a day at the beach. Someday soon we will wake up and it will be a totally different world - just like has happened throughout history - just like Pear Harbor, 9-11, the day the Soviets invaded Hungary and countless other events that all changed people’s lives for the worse. Those who do disregard history are condemned to repeat it. Proverbs 22:3 states, “A prudent man seethe the evil, and hideth himself; But the simple pass on, and suffer for it.” But really, what did those Jews know?
Letting in tens of millions of third worlders certainly didn’t help. Media and public school brainwashing did their dirty work, too.
One only need look at the vulgar ads from this Admin. From Lena Dunham’s ‘your first time’ in the run-up to the last election, to some of the Obamacare ads running to entice the youth to sign up. Never did I think I would see such vulgarity from the top of our Government. But they have managed to appeal to the lowest common denominator in the population and the regular people (at least the regular people who are Obamabots) go along with it.
