In 1974, Time Magazine blamed the cold polar vortex on global cooling.

To borrow from an item I wrote a few days before Christmas, as Zombie noted at PJM last year, the warnings for what industrialized man should do to fight global cooling are virtually identical to the warnings would-be “climate” “scientists” have given to fight global warming as well. Either way it’s going to take a lot of taxes and restrictions on the way people live to solve whichever problem it turns out to be.

When EVERY weather event “proves” your theory, you don’t have a theory, you have a cult.
Liberals just make things up as they go along.
We have gotten to the point where all weather is blamed on global warming. They have changed the name of global warming to climate change, so that any extreme event can be blamed on this.
The liberals pushed Hurricane Sandy as being blamed on global warming. Though hurricanes striking the New Jersey and New York coasts is rare, it has happened many times in recorded history. But that doesn’t matter to the liberals who push these stories.
Liberals tend to push things as some crisis.
Does anyone really believe that we would not have had this cold snap, if only Congress had passed Obama’s cap and trade bill a few yeats ago??? Or that Sandy or Katrina would not have happened if only we had cap and trade in place then???
Yep, whether it’s cooling or warming, a new ice age or “the earth has a fever”,
it all comes down to an excuse for the “solutions” -
increased taxation, reduced individual liberty, increased government power.
And Al Gore is still going to fill up his bank accounts regardless of which scenario occurs with his “expertise” on these subjects.
In a word YES! The LIV crowd that heard about it on their FREE OBAMAPHONES.
When they become tired of Climate Change, they can go for Global Wooling or Global Carming.
Time magazine ALSO can’t decide if it is still in business, or not (since nobody reads it anymore and you never see it anywhere, but apparently it still exists if someone is writing an article for it?)
Yeah it’s tough to think clearly when you’ve got your head up your patootie.
Personally, I can’ wait for the human-induced Solar Vortex to warm things up a bit.
Well, the one thing they can agree on is that humans are evil and responsible for every bad thing.
We are having whatever results in the election of more statists, the de-industrialization of America, the redistribution of its wealth, and the total control of its citizens.
Whatever facilitates that end is what we are having, and we caused it all.
Don't they know the whole scam has been renamed to "Global Climate Change"?
