Rep. Charles Rangel isnt letting a federal judge have the final word in his recently dismissed lawsuit against the House over a humiliating 2010 censure vote. A month after U.S. District Judge John Bates tossed the longtime New York Democrats complaint, his private attorney, Jay Goldberg, filed an appeal, according to court records Tuesday. The House censured Mr. Rangel in 2010 for failure to disclose rental income on a vacation house and breaking House rules that ban members from taking gifts.

Hey Charlie, being you weren't prosecuted for tax evasion and sentenced to the slammer you should retire to a nice warm beach somewhere.

Any judge who presumed to tell Congress how to conduct their internal affairs should be impeached.

The fact that Rangel is not in jail tells much about our “just-us” system.
The fact that Rangel is in any public office tells much about our political system.
The fact that anyone even listens to that pile of dirt tells much about our education system.

The fact that Rangel is in any public office tells much about our political system. It tells us how dumbed down the voters are.

Just like part of the Birther issue and the new issue with physician organizations filing lawsuit against obamacare based on the bills origination.
The courts are extremely wary when looking at these cases and if they find an alternative means for remedy, then they dismiss them, usually without comment.
All of the above have remedies in the US Constitution.
Birther — Impeachment, or prior to election revocation of ballot access. Just one state doing so would have set the whole bomb off and exposed Obama.
Physicians lawsuit vs Origination of Obamacare — Had the filed on behalf of members of the house, perhaps it would get more attention as the House has the specific enumerative responsibility for Origination clauses.
For the slob known as Rangel, his only appeal is to the U.S House. No court could possibly claim jurisdiction over the matter since it’s the Houses ‘enumerated’ prerogative to run their body by setting rules and procedures and agreeing to them amongst themselves.

Like any Dem he’ll find a cooperative (liberal) judge who will dismiss the charges/censure/etc. and then the “news” media will play it up as some sort of vindication of Rangel, blaming it all on a Repub witch hunt.
