State Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) is opening her district office to help individuals submit concealed-carry applications online since the Illinois State Police are not accepting paper applications at this time.
Rezin said she hopes this will remove any barriers for individuals seeking to apply.

This is wonderful. And, I am hopeful that if an application should happen to somehow get “lost” in the State Police process, a call from one of her aides will get it moving along again.
If I were in IL, I would drive 100 miles just to get an application submitted from her office.
Her campaign should order the “Sue Rezin for President” tee shirts now.
Put me down for three.
She should run. After all, the current WH occupant was an Illinois State Senator about a decade ago . . .
Why aren’t the Illinois State Police taking written applications?

To deal with the initial crush of applications, they want the applicants to do all the required data entry. Paper will be OK in the summer.
