Roger Ailes, the CEO and Chairman of Fox News, has declared victory over his left-wing competitors, CNN and MSNBC. In a lengthy interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ailes points out correctly that MSNBC and CNN have given up on and are moving away from the news business: "That means Fox has won the cable news wars." Indeed it does.
"MSNBC has [already] announced they're out of the news business," Ailes added. "They have several different hosts, but it's always the same show: Republicans are no good." Ailes pointed out that CNN is moving out of the news business and mocked CNN chief Jeff Zucker over the network's bizarre obsession with the documentary Blackfish: "[Zucker] had a big hit with a whale one night [the documentary Blackfish]. I guess he's going to do whales a lot."

I don’t mind Bob and Juan. What I mind, especially on Fox and Friends, are the constant stories pandering to the Honey Booboo set... it’s like a TV version of People Magazine. I still like Bret Beir. That’s all I can take though.
I think FOX is moderate, not conservative.
But it is clearly better than the communist networks.
Anyone else notice that hardly anyone watches CNN in the airports these days?
I think it’s because conservatives are the only ones watching cable news. Democrats are too comfortable to bother with such distractions.

Your post cracked me up. I’ve said for many years that most TV news has digressed to “The People Magazine Show”.
Fox is not conserviative, but I would call them “in the middle”. That is really where I want to see news organizations.
Their numbers would be sky high if they had not turned left. I use to watch them years. Now they are gop-e bought and paid for. If they see there numbers slip enough, they put on a conservative face. They are just like the others, only not as far left. They still keep chasing the left. At what point are people going to see the moral depravity of leftist ideas? Never for many when they can get a dime from the government. Even there own kids future does not matter as much as their getting money and their pride. The government has become an “idol” to many. God hates idols and will destroy them all one day. Our nation needs prayers and fasting. If only Isaiah or Ezekiel or Joel were around.
Notice that most airports have turned the sound down on those TVs????

Oh my goodness. No one watches cable news. The numbers that do watch would get any other show canceled. Year in and year out fewer and fewer watch. Those that do watch are so old they almost make me look young. So, yeah, one of the children in the sandbox won a meaningless, small, silly contest.
“News entertainment” is killing us. It’s all crap.

This morning I as usual steered my television to the cable wall street stations.
However at some point I became bored with all the alternatives, and switched over to the cable news networks.
I clicked on Fox. Then I went to CNN and Headline News. For some reason I decided to watch CNN for a moment and give them a chance.
That choice was short-lived. Almost immediately there I was watching them batter whatshisname about the “scandal” he is allegedly responsible for.
Now I am no fan of who’s-it, but really?
For over five years now we have had the worst president in the history of America, and all these media nitwits have been silent.
Now they’re battering a Republican?
It was all over Headline News as well.
I am watching Fox News again now. Sorry CNN you blew that chance to win me back.
I’m series. You were in the running, and blew it.
