I had a 65 Skylark, with a more “mild mannered “ 300 V-8, which ran pretty strong until the timing chain crapped out, those engines were known for this. Got so frustrated I practically gave it to my brother-in-law, told him to get it the bleep out of my sight, and I still kick myself when I see a nice one at a car show >:(
