>>>they are the final product of Marxism- a 2 class state consisting of the politically connected and empowered class and everybody else. If a plebeian steps out of line and speaks out against the politically empowered class or against their policies he or she will quickly find out what kind of a slave they really are. It sounds like you need to move there and become a citizen actually- since theyre so awesome and everything.<<<
Where have I praised their system? But to call everything you don’t like a marxism is not smart either.
In America, we have a representative republican form of Democracy-that is, a form of representative democracy that is supposed to be strictly limited by a set of written laws encoded, first and foremost, in our constitution (as opposed to a monarchy). As an economic system, we have a collection of capitalism, cronyism, socialism, communism, and, ultimately, a new brand of fascism which is seeking to undermine our traditional republican form of governance by blurring the separation of powers, disregarding the constitution to the extent possible, and eliminating the traditional safeguards of our liberty which are guaranteed by our bill of rights. this new fascism is just another oligarchy and, as such, is easily confused with true communsim because, as I previosuly stated, most any government that is other than a representive republic is a form of oligarchy be it monarchy, fascism, naziism, communism, plutocracy, or whatever. It's all about the power in the end.
This undermining of our republican form of government is all done for various supposedly well intended reasons like public safety, national defense, common sense, protecting the children, etc but the end result, should we allow it to persist unchecked, will be the same regardless of intentions, a consolidation of power in the hands of a few. Call it whatever you want.
The forms of our representative democracy may persist for a time but they will be but fading shadows of what they once were.
So yes, I consider the Chinese Marxist communists because, despite their constitution, power still resides in the hands of the few. China is an Oligarchy. That is not to say that America, despite its constitution, doesn't have aspects of an oligarchy mixed into its political/economic system as well. It surely does, however, our forefathers, via the constitution, created a system that was able to prevent plutocracy-the tyranny of wealth (or any other tyranny for that matter) from "taking over" hence, the need to undermine the costitution.
whatever rises up from the ahses of our constitutional republic, one thing is for sure, it will be better for you if you are with them than against them.
I should just delete these ramblings but I won't.
