One thing about it... we are all going to have a ringside seat to see.

This is the mortgage crisis all over again, the government demanded that people who couldn’t afford them be giving loans then the system collapsed and the lenders blamed

this is identical ...the government is demanding people be insured at an unsustainable rate ..system will collapse the people blame the insurers and the government swoops in and take over

With a deductible of over $6000, and much higher co-pays, the average medical patient in the USA at the beginning of the “covered year’ will have to pay all of their early costs out of their pockets, anyway.

Yep. Yesterday I was at my insurance agent's office for some business related stuff. I checked on health insurance in the private market for a family of four: 900/month premiums and a 12,000.00 deductible. I laughed and walked out.

“Throw in the fact that the GOP-e really wants the power that obamacare grants them, and therefore, won’t hit the issue like the should, and it’s hard to imagine this costing the Dems.”

This is the real problem. There is plenty of “political ammo” with which to tar the RATs, particularly Obamacare, but the GOPe would rather loose this watershed election than give any ground to conservatives. The Chamber of Commerce doesn’t give a $hit about anything but continuing to keep their GOPe lapdogs in the Congress. The way they operate, “business” is a bad word. “Business interests” today are nothing like true Capitalism.

It’s not the fault of the insurers; it’s the fault of Obamacare.
