State Police activated an Amber Alert for a missing Fitchburg girl on Friday evening.
Alize Whipple, 6, was last seen on Wednesday at about 4 p.m. on Normandy Road in Fitchburg, according to police. Whipple is described in a police alert as black with dark hair, about 3-feet-9, and weighing 45 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink top, pink pants, and pink sparkly shoes, police said.
Police believe that Whipple was abducted by her non-custodial mother, Leeanna Wilson, 50, who may cause her harm. Wilson is white with strawberry blonde hair, about 5-feet-5 and weighing 135 pounds, and is believed to be driving a blue 1996 Buick Century with a South Carolina license plate JJT687.

You have that right. This is a disgusting state for those types of things...I have two very close acquaintances who were married to reprehensible women who were not just accused of downright unbelievably bad behavior, but had it PROVEN beyond a doubt to the judges, who awarded custody to the fathers.
That in itself is extremely rare, but...in both cases, the women bided their time, found new judges, and like vampires who haven’t had a stake driven through them, are angling to get the children back and will likely be successful.
The legal system for fathers in this state (MA) is an absolute travesty.
Now that I think about it, this mother is probably from S. Carolina, and maybe that’s where she lost custody. Just a guess.
Last seen at 4pm — she’s probably past Delaware by now on I-95. Poor little girl.
Also meant to say that I got the Amber Alert siren on my phone for it — that has never happened before. I live in RI.
I got that on my phone as well, never got it before and it startled the crap out of me.
I turned it off so I don’t get any more of those. Hope that little girl is okay.
I’m ten miles from Fitchburg, and I got it twice. I had never received one before, either, that I remember. One when I was in bed.

I happened to blunder into the alert while trying out a new clock radio that sets its time using RDS. Only found two stations in the Boston area that include clock time in their RDS feed: 94.5 and 105.7. The latter is on daylight saving time, however, exactly one hour fast. Hey, you WROR control room pukes! Wake up! Radio broadcasters suck!
As for Amber Alerts, they are a yet another government boondoggle. They should be reserved for stranger abductions, not domestic beefs.
I’m sure the fact that the supposed abductor, the actual MOTHER of the child, is white had nothing to do with the custody battle....
In this state, the sex of the parent is far more important than any other factor, including the welfare of the child.
But that is generally speaking. I don’t know about this specific case.
