The same can be said of banking & mortgages before Jimmah Carter’s CRA.
Banks got upended with having to give mortgages to people who didn’t qualify to buy a T-shirt with payments.

No, these were “low info “ people. They really thought they could waltz right in and see a doctor. It got a little dicey with one. DIL thought she might have to call the cops.
One wonders if some of them will wise up and change their ways?
