20-mile 'pilgrimage' on Monday will support immigrant dad facing deportation

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Friends and supporters of a Perry Township man facing deportation to his native Mexico will hold a 20-mile walk on Monday to draw attention to the issue of immigration -- and, they say, to seek something like a miracle.

Walkers from Greater Cleveland's Latino and Polish communities will be part of the "pilgrimage" from Lake County to St. Casimir Church in Cleveland, where they will pray for the intercession of Our Lady of Czestochowa, the Polish Madonna, in the case of undocumented immigrant Ricardo Ramos.

I do not know about the rest of you but he must have previous crimical history.ICE is not deporting illegals for driving without licenses.That under Obama he is not high priority.Could a person walk up too- Our Lady of Czestochowa or the Polish Madonna,begin asking both church's just how did Romas whom has been here 20 years and would you care to disclose just how he had the ability to earn wages ? At any time were fraudulent documents put into use by Romas to pay taxes ?Driving with no license would also mean no insurance.What would happen had he had a serious accident bringing great harm to others on the road because he did not have insurace.How about debate on this issue ?

I’ve walked 20 miles in one day. It’s a challenge and it takes most of the day but it isn’t particularly newsworthy.

Says he was pulled over for driving without a licence and caught having two illegal jobs. Perhaps he also did not have car insurance as well.

It also says he is NOT being deported, but told he has to deport himself by January 16th.

Make sure the pilgrimage is headed south. Every step would be that much closer to the border.
