Sketch Released of Suspect Who Punched Los Gatos Woman, May Be Part of 'Knockout Game'

Police are turning to the public to find the man who punched a woman as she was dropping her daughter off at dance practice in Los Gatos on Monday.

Police released a sketch Friday of the suspect.

They said he was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a backwards white baseball cap when he attacked the woman for no apparent reason.

There is speculation the attack could be part of a disturbing prank called the "Knockout Game," where random people are attacked while someone else videotapes it.

Witnesses said the victim was injured but refused to go to the hospital.

The charge should be attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, or some similar felony, and the thugs should go to prison for at least 30 years for this sort of crime. I figure a 50 y/o violent moron is a whole lot less dangerous to decent people than a 20 y/o violent moron, even if 30 years of reflecting on how it wasn’t worth it doesn’t do the trick.

Note to biased media: Only in your distorted world would such a thing be considered a 'prank.' People have died from this, and even if they don't, it is nothing less than assault. Unprovoked, but premeditated, assault. Normally, pranks have some sort of humor to them.

Apparently this studio is at the eastern edge of Los Gatos, almost all the way to Camden on Blossom Hill. Even so, it is typical of liberal Silicon Valley that the perp did his deed in broad daylight and people apparently just stood there in shock. Nobody went after him.
