censured

McCain subject of unprecedented embarrassment

The Maricopa County Republican Committee, the state’s largest Republican group, censured Senator John McCain for “long and terrible record of drafting, co-sponsoring and voting for legislation best associated with liberal Democrats.”

This official censuring of McCain happened during the annual mandatory meeting of the Maricopa County Republican Committee. Nearly 1,500 precinct committeemen (PCs) were in attendance.  The vote to censure McCain passed overwhelmingly — 1,150 in support with only 351 opposed.

After McCain held several closed door town halls on amnesty last year, state Republicans expressed their outrage with his stance on rewarding illegal aliens with citizenship.

McCain betrayed the state by proclaiming his intent to "Complete the Dang Fence" when running in his 2010 primary, then turning around and pushing through last year's "Gang of 8" Senate amnesty bill that would gut border security and hand tens of millions of illegals instant legalization.

McCain also opposed attempts to defund ObamaCare, pushed to arm Al Queda-backed "rebels" in Syria, and shamed his state when he was photographed with a Syrian terrorist who had kidnapped and tortured 11 civilians.

And the governor's endorsement played no part? If you believe that you're delusional.

Believe what you want. Are you trying to imply that McCain never got voted in without Sarah's support before? Now that's delusional. He's been a mainstay in that state for thirty or so years with no thought from voters as they kept voting for him. I believe he's gone unchallenged for years.

This time McCain had to spend millions to keep his seat and from what I read - his TV advertisements were non stop. His opponent did not have the name recognition nor the money the old shoe had. But Hayworth certainly exposed McCain - and Juan's 'unexpected' energy he showed against a conservative when he was taking something he 'believed' was his. Perhaps, Hayworth won more for his state than he was given credit for. Something woke up AZ voters. If you are hell bent on blaming Sarah - go for it. It's only your wish to blame someone other than his voters. Conservatives pick their candidates and don't listen to anyone. But I can only speak for myself and conservatives I know. I don't know any easily led conservatives but those type of conservatives/so called are certainly here. Besides that - I cannot believe conservatives in that state ever voted for him. McCain didn't have any conservatives policies or values. Rino's are and always was his base.

I have implied no such thing. I said she helped him get reelected and she did. Not interested in your circular argument. Bye.

And let us also not forget that while a tv commercial was good enough to blacklist a decent candidate from an AZ senate seat according to the brilliant thinkers across the right...

Personal financial and legislative support for abortion, homosexuality over anyone else’s rights, Anti gun actions, anti military statements/actions, the ability to be on all sides of every issue simultaneously, destroying the Mass medical system and...oh...a few THOUSAND other anti conservative/anti constitutional actions and positions were just fine and dandy for the highest office. Because SOMEHOW that was a lesser evil than the same exact crap than when Obama does it.

she helped him get reelected and she did.

Where was she for 30 years when he desperately needed help to win. LOL! Talk about circular dribble! If it's not Bush's fault, it's Sarah's fault. It's always someone else's fault. Those low info voters must be protected at all costs....but that's the liberal media's job to keep them that way while blaming 'a person' for the result of that.

For anyone that thinks McCain is embarrassed by this, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.

I have no doubt McCain wears their scorn like a badge of honor. He is after all, just another rat.

It was reported this last week that McCain was heard musing about setting up an organization to support a run for yet another term, I think that would be in 2016.

I have seen that pic a number of times. Does anyone know the story behind it? Did I miss some great moment in history or is it just a fine photoshop?

Now that the voters have censured him, it is time for them to censor him.

I is long past time for Johnny McInsane to retire. He needs to go home and take his dull witted daughter Megaton with him.

In an interview the other day, Duncan D. Hunter said that McCain is the main stumbling block in Hunter's legislation to save the Mt. Soledad war memorial cross in San Diego.

The man is pure lib, through and through!

I kept looking for the John Semmons semi-news tag, but evidently this is for real!

Isn't it amazing how the line between satire and fact today is barely discernible? ...and we must label items to tell them apart? (And I APPRECIATE the labels for that reason).
