For Palestinians in Gaza, Sharon’s passing is reason to celebrate

Dozens of Palestinians took to the streets in the Gaza Strip on Saturday to celebrate the death of former prime minister Ariel Sharon.

The Palestinians handed out candy to drivers, shopkeepers and passersby, while others set fire to portraits of Sharon, the Palestinian news agency Safa reported.

The agency said that the celebration took place in the town of Bani Suhaila east of Khan Yunis.

Dozens of residents gathered in the center of the town, chanting “Allahu akbar” as women ululated in joy over Sharon’s death, the agency said.

The Palestinian culture is founded, unified and dedicated to hate. It’s their religion, their belief system, their nationality and their identity. If Israel was destroyed, they’d turn on each other, then howl at the moon.

Completely true. There never was a people called The Palestinians. Arabs migrated into the holy land after the Jews were seen to be making the foresaken place bloom. That started a few generations ago. An excellent propagandist made up a big tie about their having been there all along. No history book up to 40 years claimed such an absurdity. Born and bred and fostered by the U.N. not to work and move ahead in the world, but to destroy those of whom they are jealous for doing with the land what no Arab seemed to be able to do.
