“Later,a lady from Mexico,a naturalized American citizen, threw her arms around me and said,”Thank you. I am so tired of Joe’s crap.”

Joe’s problem is that the next generation of “Americans” know without a doubt that they owe Joe nothing; in fact, they despise him & his ilk. As they increasingly own their own businesses, watch how much “affirmative action” they DON’T practice.

“A black acquaintance of mine casually remarked once to a group of white friends we had in common that we would be shocked how much old black people hate white people. I am not shocked any more.”

I can understand it when you’re talking about people who lived through Jim Crow and such; those people are dying off, and the younger ones have no such excuse. They’ve been given everything on a silver platter (high school diplomas and college degrees, regardless of whether or not they can read, as well as jobs for which they often aren’t qualified).

I know this “Joe”. In my tale, Joe is his actual name. Born in Los Angeles in the projects. Dark skinned with a booming voice, charismatic. Married a black girl and when he couldn’t find work, joined the military. He was stationed in Ohio and his wife was still in L.A. when he got word that his 5 year old son had died. His wife wanted to go out with her friends and the little boy had the flu, so she tied him to the bed and so he wouldn’t make noise and disturb the neighbors, she stuffed a washrag in his mouth to keep him quiet.
He asphyxiated. No charges were ever brought.
He left, divorced her, and never looked back.
All of his friends were white. His girlfriends were white. He was always interested in computers, so while in the military, he went to college and graduated with honors. He married a white woman. Her family was wealthy, but they disowned her for marrying him.
When he left the military, he mustered out in DC and got a job as a computer analyst. He sent out a ton of resumes. In the meantime, his wife decided that her family and their money was more important to her than he, so they divorced.
He found another white girlfriend and they lived together in DC.
He stayed in touch with most of his old friends and they visited back and forth. His best friend’s daughter called him Uncle Daddy Joe.
He kept sending out resumes and finally landed an entry job ar a VERY famous and prestigious firm in Boston. His girlfriend didn’t want to leave her career in DC so he went to Boston alone.
He was promoted quickly and met a black woman who worked in his department. They began dating and as he rose in the company, their relationship became serious. She introduced him to her church...a black liberation theology church.
His entire personality changed. He was promoted to Vice President in the company. He stopped communicating with his friends.
Though they never married, he and his girlfriend bought a spectacular home in a wealthy white suburb of Boston but for both of them, everything was about race even though Joe never used affirmative action to move upwards or onwards and even though the people who loved him for who he was for so many years were mostly white men and women and their families.
He became a pastor in the church, preached black liberation theology, and recruited young people to the church.
He would have retired from his company in Boston about six or seven years ago very well off. I have no idea whether he stayed in Boston or moved somewhere else, but this article sure sounds exactly like him.
Extreme guilt for his son’s death and turning his back on his own race for so many years, I guess it builds after so long, and maybe the way he thought he could atone was to go to the oppostite extreme. It’s a very sad thing.

If being white is so privileged, why do biracial people almost always identify as black? Because that’s where the privilege is nowadays!

I can honestly say I’m sick of Joe’s crap, too.

I know Freud has fallen out of favor with psychologists these days, but if we frame the discussion in Freudian terms, guilt arises out of Superego, the highest psychic element to form and the last to develop. Predatory blacks have exploited white guilt for decades now — at first legitimately, in the form of the civil rights movement lead by men such as Martin Luther King and Ralph Abernathy. But that movement has mutated into a battle of black egos against white superegos — self-service in the black community playing against white self-flagellation for mistakes made centuries ago. And the white guilt well is just about dry, except in the marxist camps where self-flagellation is a useful tool for wreaking social change.
