The only change I want to see is less rules, regulations and laws.
It you allow someone to own a gun, but not carry it whenever and in whatever manner he wants, then you have revoked his right to self protection.

Every time I see a story like this, I have the overwhelming urge to go out and buy another firearm. If I were to act on that impulse every time, I’m pretty sure I’d have more guns than some third-world countries (and have a credit card bill that looked like the US national debt!).

The strangest thing about Sandy Hook is the inordinate amount of time and planning that went in to it. There are several rather blatant points that jump out at the discerning investigator. Here are a few:

One: Two years prior to the hoax State Medical Examine Wayne Carver was the impetus behind a state law prohibiting the release of crime scene photos, autopsy photos and autopsy reports of minor children. This effort before hand shows long range planning on the part of a government sponsored cabal to make sure certain potentially 'damaging' information was suppressed.

Two: Many of the families who played 'prominent' media roles immediately after the hoax had been recent immigrants to Newtown. They seemed to have had some 'acting' abilities or connections prior to the hoax. Because 'their' children were not actually brutally murdered and disfigured the interviews, some within hours of their 'loss' seem scripted and completely unemotional. Later interviews have an almost 'Twilight Zone' quality to them with all parties laughing gaily and joking with the interviewers whom for the most part seemed obvious to the strange affects of the parents.

Three: One obvious planning date (although it appears obvious that the hoax plan had most likely been conceived by Leftist anti-2nd Amendment government cabal years before) seems to have been the purported 'last three years where NO one seems to have ever seen or had contact with Adam Lanza or his mother. His 'own' brother, the elusive 'Ryan Lanza' is said to have stated that he alone had not seen or spoken with his 'brother' for more than two years. So it appears that the hoax story demanded a negative vortex prior to the incident to prevent outside influences from interjecting themselves between the 'paid' political theater actors and the media.

Briefly, in closing, there are only three very separate and distinct possibilities as to what happened on December 14th, 2013:

One: A mentally disturbed 20 year psychotic loner, without motive, killed 27 people with a variety of rifles and handguns, the 27th being his mother. He then appears to have shot the 28th person, himself. 20 students died along with 6 faculty as 154 rounds of ammunition were expended. The Ct. State Police were the first to arrive and sealed the scene declaring every one shot, dead. No EMS or other LEO's were allowed access to the school. Adam Lanza appears to have driven a black Honda (registered to a local felon and drug addict) to the school, and is said to have shot his way in through the front glass door/window which was said to be 'bullet resistant', but not bullet proof. Although there were supposedly 600 students in the school at the time there is no known photos or videos of an exit save one photo which looks to have been staged during a prior drill. No body bags were ever seen or photographed being removed save one blurry shot of a white sheeted 'victim' taken in the middle of the night by a camera man apparently in a tree near the school. Except for a comment re: Noah Pozner's funeral, all funerals were closed casket. It was related that Pozner had a cloth partially over his face perhaps to hide disfigurement. No photos of dead children (if they exist) have ever been released per the previously mention law. There was at one time a surveillance video system installed in the school but photos taken the day of the shooting show it had been removed from the exterior of the building. There are no KNOWN photos or video of Lanza either driving up to the school, exiting the car, or shooting his way in to the school.

Two: It was a US government Black Ops attack in which a total of 28 people were eliminated and it actually happened as a plan to force the destruction of the 2nd Amendment and the confiscation of guns in America. To a degree, in certain liberal controlled states this is already happening (NY, CT).

Three: This was an active shooter drill that went live and it was a hoax with the liberal controlled media a willing participant.

Yawn.

A bunch of Sandy hookers wanting to grab everyone’s guns.

So what else is new?

If tens of thousands of conservatives march in the streets, the media ignores them. If a handful of moonbats take to the streets, the media has wall to wall coverage.

In a shift from their origins as promoter of tools for personal protection and hunting,

Sorry but they left out citizen's protection from tyranny, which is the only one implied in the Second Amendment.

These gun-grabbers have revealed themselves as the absolute government-enforced prohibitionists they are, and now, I am 100% against any compromise whatsoever with them.

In fact, I am for the complete repeal of the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the National Firearms Acts of 1934, and all laws that depend on them, including the Gun-Free School Zone Act, as amended after the Lopez case.

The Hughes Amendment banning the ownership of machine guns by civilians post May 1986 is unconstitutional on its face (per the 1934 Miller case) and must be rescinded immediately.

The unconstitutional registry of all guns, including the machine gun registry going back to 1934 but extended in 1968 and 1986, MUST be destroyed immediately.

Every last law in the United States infringing the 2nd Amendment in any way, including federal-level background checks, must be repealed to return on a Constitutional order.

No more NICS, no more waiting periods, no more bans on gun shows or gun stores.

If the states want to license concealed carry, I'm OK with that, but NOT at the federal level. And open carry must be completely unrestricted in normal society. If carry is restricted in certain government buildings, then those buildings MUST (in the style of the new Kansas law) provide security guards, searches, and metal detectors to enforce what the criminals will not comply with on their own.

I've had it with this gradual descent into Nazi Germany. NO MORE.

The article describes one of the demands of the protestors against the gun industry “to change its marketing practices”. Later on the article describes the gun industry as marketing to children.

This seems rather strange as as far as I’ve ever noticed, neither television, newspapers, nor major magazines carry advertisements for firearms. They all carry ads for alcohol and with the exception of television, tobacco products though.

The only time I’ve seen advertisements for firearms manufacturers are on enthusiast publications or cable programming narrowly tailored to shooting, hunting or outdoor pursuits.

Their complaint is specious. Most of what kids pick up about firearms today is from Hollywood and video games, but because those industries support the left they get a free pass.

They just don’t get it.

You will never hear of a “shelter in place” order in rural Texas.

My tagline still applies.

‘The Second Amendment is NOT about the right to hunt. It IS a right to shoot tyrants.’

But right has the “new media”. The left has the “old media”.

Yes, ma'am, but the problem is that the old media includes the nation's newspapers, which still have pretty large readerships and all the national TV networks, which millions watch each and every day. These networks have huge numbers of viewers of the situation comedies and dramas that promote liberal values and let's not forget the audience for the nightly newscasts.

I would say that they have a greater audience that we conservatives could ever hope for, notwithstanding talk radio and the conservative websites. Bear in mind that the latter two attract people who are already on our side whereas the newspapers and electronic media have non-committed audiences to influence.
