I am a 1%er and I homeschool. You seem like an ignorant person.
That wasn’t my point. My point was that we have a perfectly good word to describe people like me. That word is “religious.” It’s a great word, means pretty much what you’d think, and it can be used whether my religion is Christian, Jewish, Moslem, Hindu, or Wiccan.
If the media style-books have decreed that we need to say “faith-based” instead of “religious,” I suspect a nefarious motive.
“Fairfax” explains it all - people who wished they lived in D.C. but are at least smart enough to avoid the free fire zone that is our nation’s capital, but not smart enough to keep D.C. ideas out of their lives. Dragging VA down the toilet, one slimy inch at a time.
And some don’t mind the liberal rot, but they think it’s important for their children to be able to read and do math.
You are the exception, not the rule.
I never disagreed with you though it may have sounded that way. Hard to decipher meaning or intent on the Internet without being able to see a face.
Republicans are not our allies. SOME Republicans are good guys but most aren’t. Time for that party to die.
Please keep in mind I don’t have anything against people who are blessed by God with monetary or other forms of physical wealth. I am actually very happy that they have it.
I just have a problem when they use their wealth to undermine America and her foundation that allowed the One Percenters to be where they are today.
Done. I sent an email to Howell. I wonder if I will get a reply. This sounds weird for a Virginia Republican, even one from Fairfax County.
What has happen to Virginia?
Okay. I understand.
The majority of 1%ers oppose the Dems.
Name me some prominent 1%ers who are conservative. I know Bill Gates isn’t.
There over 3 million 1%ers in the US. Polls seem to indicate they are 57% Republican.
Considering that Pubbies are collectivists in their own unique way, that doesn’t mean much to me.
Ping-a-ling... Just saw this one. It looks like a Republican - yes, a Republican - filed an anti-homeschool “legislative measure” in Virginia.
