Are you suggesting that our forces in the field should kill civilians in order to preserve their own mission?
I would have if it was between my brothers dying or them. It would bother me but I am certain I’d have killed them and moved on. A kid can kill you just as easy as a man can in war.
We killed tens of thousands of civilians in the second world war by burning them to death and MILLIONS of civilians have died in war. That’s why it’s called war and not a duel.

You have been chastised rightly already by others, but I'll answer: When it's a matter of the civilians or you, as this was, of course. They should have taken that out, the last man standing admits it, and he's right. Those civilians killed the three Seals who died and the scores of Taliban the Seals had to kill in order to try to get away.
Your question is the wrong one, and you should be really rethink what you asked.
