Here’s a question for you guys: what does the Geneva Convention say about killing civilians in the field?
Another question: What does the UCMJ say about that?
And another: Is the intentional aerial bombing of civilians a war crime today?

(This is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire; or both.)

When fighting unconventional enemies that do not wear the uniform of a nation and use civilial populations to conceal movements. The Geneva Convention is null and void.

Honestly, I don't care what the Geneva Convention or the UCMJ say. Our people are more important to me. The ROE’s lately are totally wrong. Getting our people killed for misplaced idealism is wrong. The world is a nasty, uncivilized place. The sooner we all realize that and act accordingly, the better off we'll be.
