Arguably a true statement within the limited area of "they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights" Argument is only logical within those limits.

We are in agreement. Which is how the word ‘equal’ or ‘equivalency’ is being used, not excluded from anything where two things being compared aren’t identical in every way.

On one side are Robertson's predictable supporters, who include white evangelicals, southern Republican politicians and Fox News.

CNN just can't hide their bitterness at being pushed into irrelevance by a network who reports the facts as they are, and not what the Left wishes them to be.

I tend to replace the word “sin” with “consequences”...as the word “sin” implies that the person you’re talking to already accepts God and his moral code. If you talk about consequences people can relate and don’t see it as a religious discussion. When people see the consequences of immoral behavior they’ll tend to agree with you. For non-believers, they don’t like to think of themselves as imperfect and don’t want to hear it. They’ll dismiss you for just using the word “sin”....but they can’t dismiss facts and their own experience when you point out consequences.

Your answer is nonsensical. Most assuredly elements of the Bible pre-date Christianity. That was not the question. The question is which CHRISTIAN religion predates Catholicism?

My answer was not nonsensical. Catholicism didn't show up for several hundred years after Christ. Those Christians before the church showed up were Christian--and they pre-dataed catholicism.

And they only followed Scripture.

Using the “is a” relationship. Sin is the superclass, and the other two are subclasses. The “is a” relationship does not equate the two subclasses.
