Now now impatient FReepers...we don't have a majority in Congress. Also, this spending bill is out of the way now, so our Republican heroes can fight tooth and nail against Obamacare again. Right?

Patience, you fringe, wacko, far-right extremists!

“I don’t suppose any of that money will go toward the adult daycare services my husband is currently being refused by TriCare and Medicare, because disabled vets don’t qualify for it like welfare queens do.”

They should all be ashamed for this and remembered through the lens of infamy by our posterity. The problem is that our posterity will be in chains and will not have the benefit of accurate history do to the captivity and bondage these scoundrels and swindlers bequeath them.

This is the worst of all possible outcomes:

1) Veterans have been shafted badly.
2) This bill is huge in number of pages; who knows what Obama and company have put in it?
3) This bill is huge in number of dollars; no way will this spending be sustainable.
4) It runs out right before the 2014 election. I GUARANTEE THE DEMOCRATS WILL SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH THE ELECTION, and the PRESS WILL BLAME REPUBLICANS.

I guess it could be worse. There could be a repeal of the 2nd Amendment tucked in those 1500+ pages. Oh, wait, no one has read it. There might be.

If I’m going to misspell due, it might be better to spell it Dhue.
