Lapid, the secular left participant in the Netanyahu government is fearful of being drawn into the “peace process”, interesting but his statements are probably political.
He doesn’t want to get blamed for the fallout. It’s either disaster or stalemate for the piece process, as usual. He may be stupid, but not about politics.
