A 0.73 bore tends to put LARGE holes in things.

A paper target first used for 22LR can easily be used again for 12 ga.

Or a dozen or so medium sized holes. Very hard for surgeons to treat even if they make it to an ER.

I have seen statements to the effect that handgun wounds cause death in about 33% of shootings and that shotgun wounds result in death in about 72% of shootings. The biggest factor is bleed-out in the instance of shotgun wounds.
