PRESIDENT OBAMA: North Carolina still has a higher than average unemployment rate so this is important to this state. Folks aren't looking for a handout, they're not looking for special treatment. There are a lot of people who are sending out resumes every single day, but the market, the job market is still tough in pockets around the country. And people need support, a little help so they can look after their families while they're looking for a new job.
So Congress should do the right thing and extend this vital lifeline for millions of Americans. Of course, that's just short term. Long-term, the challenge of making sure everybody who works hard can get ahead in today's economy is so important that we can't wait for Congress to solve it. Where I can act on my own without Congress, I' m going to do so.

Well, I certainly don’t see any push back or outrage from the so-called opposition *leadership*. So, I guess he has pulled off a coup.

I’ve noticed that, as with Coburn on Mark Levin’s show last night and a bit played today by Rush with Karl Rove. Instead of righteous indignation, they very passively, sadly, and sorrowfully state and restate the problem, as if Obama’s over reach is a force of nature, like a hurricane, that can’t be turned. Coburn said that legislators have trouble in court establishing standing in combating it. That is absurd, but why go to court?
If you like your Congress you can keep your Congress. Period!

Now THAT is a post that recommends actually doing something though.
While removal of Zero, under Harry Reid, is out of the question in the senate, it is time to defend the Constitution in the House and go ahead with impeachment proceedings. That would be the honest thing to do and the only way the sheeple will ever hear of the Constitution, that we even have one.
Of course, the senate failed the people and gave Clinton a pass, and he rebounded in the polls after the media rehabilitated him.
All things right and honest seem to backfire in DC, in this age, don’t they?
Direct action through peaceful protest and civil disobedience requires a lot of people but it seems to me the only thing left that gives any hope of turning this around.
