Marcus first appears as a SEAL at the morning meal table (outdoors) right after Murphy and Deitz finish their power run . He wears a black watch cap ,pulled down and dark shades .He spills coffee and then suggests that the young rookie SEAL clean up the table . Later you see him in the gathered SEALs at 1st the briefing on the mission and then in the rookie SEAL’s introduction before the gathered TEAMs members .Finally you catch glimpses of him as the QRF boards the MH-47 , and in flight . Read what Luttrell says about that in the link I pasted in this thread . Most significance to me is that he chooses not to be credited , and never talks about his own appearance . He is a credit to his brothers .
Obama is so typical of many potheads I have known ; hype and fake it , as long as you can. Forget morals and ethics , if it feels good , do it . And if you get caught , deny everything , and then duck for cover and hope all the bad vibes will just go away .
Of course there are exceptions ( those with legitimate medical need) . I am speaking generally ; of the average self indulgent , hedonistic , narcissistic , fuzzy minded partaker .

AFG was not yet ramped up in those days . We were heavily engaged in Iraq . I would have supported extensive use of FAEs in those mountain valleys and sorry about the collateral damage .
Keep in mind folks , Operation Red Wings happened PRE-OBAMA .... The focus and much of the material support was on Iraq .

Isn’t it interesting that this is the very time frame that the founders of the Frankfurt School , neo-marxist secular Jews , fleeing persecution by the Nazis , came to land and settle into Santa Monica ? Invited and sponsored into the US by , of all places , Columbia University .... Now today , we see the spawn of that vile ilk , the likes of Harvey Weinstein , influencing and controlling much of what goes on , and comes out of Hollywood today . Americans have always turned a blind eye to these stealthy infiltrations . To our great peril. And they keep happening , over & over again . With little or no push back .
Saw this film today.....and loved it. The American people should know and learn what our troops have to bear in these difficult wars!!! IMHO....we do not give enough appreciation to our military folks across the board. Certainly.....our politicians across the board could care less, with few exceptions.
Everyone in our country should see this well made and communicated film!!! I predict the coming weekend will witness another massive turnout of viewers, as the word of mouth about the focus and truth of this film filters throughout our country!!! America needs to wake up. Time is short for America and her children!!!
