A five-star hotel in Morocco....generally means you won’t get food poisoning, bad water, or be robbed. There’ll be at least two or three armed guys on the premises for ensuring nothing bad happens to you. As long as you stay on the hotel grounds....things will be generally Ok. For a person sitting in Baton Rouge...this means you have to fly from BR to ATL or Dallas...then switch to a airline flying into Spain. You will sit for four to six hours at the Spanish airport, before you get onto an airline flying into Morocco. Between the bag drag and bus ride out to your airport, and all the travel involved....you will have spent roughly twenty-four to thirty hours in some travel status. If that pleases you...fine. I can’t think of any positive reason for myself to take such a trip. Been there....done that, and it’s not fun.

“I guess the folk in baton rogue don’t care.”

They probably don’t see a problem with Rangeling a few freebies from The Man.

Per wiki:

“According to the 2010 the racial makeup of the city was 50.4% Black or African American, 40.8% White, 0.5% Native American, 3.5% Asian, and 1.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino were 3.5% of the population. Non-Hispanic Whites were 37.8% of the population, down from 70.5% in 1970.”

Yvette M. Alexander practiced law for 16 years before becoming Judge for Division “D” of Baton Rouge City Court in 1995.
~~~~~
“Practicing law”, not to be confused with private practice - on the State’s payroll entire career before becoming a city judge. IOW, she’s owed this and more.
Career and Education
Judge Alexander earned a B.A. in Political Science from Grambling State University and earned a J.D. from the LSU Law Center in 1979. After law school, she worked as counsel for the Louisiana State Legislature, Louisiana State Senate, East Baton Rouge Parish Public Defender’s Office and was an Assistant Attorney General for the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office. From 1988–1995, she served as Chief Legal Counsel for Secretary of State, Fox McKeithen and served as an Ex-Officio Member of both the Louisiana State Bond Commission and the Louisiana School Employees Retirement System, before being elected to Division “D” of City Court in 1995.
