I smell a RAT. While I detest Christie, the way this take down is going, I suspect that the RATs bought members of Christies staff, paying them to do these things. If a Governor wished to inflict pain on a political opponent, there are so many other, legitimate and non rebutable ways to apply hurt.
"Threatening companies that participate in politics with reputational destruction is the American left's version of Maoist shaming sessions. Modern Red Guards don't hang signs around your neck. Their weapon of choice is modern media. In this league, a political traffic jam is the work of amateurs." WSJ
I smell a rat too. Why would Christie bother with a DEMOCRAT mayor who refuesed to endorse him? Wouldn’t it have been what all of us recognize as standard procedure for that mayor to endose his own party’s candidate?
Why would Christie’s staff have made such a bonehead move?

The G.W. Bridge takes in a reported $1 million a day in tolls. Slowing that traffic down to a crawl also slows down any “fresh” hands in the till that might be skimming off the top bridge Fort Lee city pols might be getting the top.
This has NEVER made sense to me.
