Sure, go for it if you want to turn NYC into a ghost town. Cde. Wilhelm is bringing on the Detroitification.

I think that’s the goal and I don’t think they’re aware that they’ve just about run out of other people’s money

If its that important to humanity, why the five employee cutoff? “We could do four, sir, but that might impact economic activity.”
To: Olog-hai
Typical Marxist Democrat. They’re “for the working man” except the guy working to keep his own business.

Small businesses must be destroyed!
Between ObamaCare and now this idiot, more can enter the unemployment line.

Why not all companies with at least one person? Require those sole proprietor cheapskates to pay themselves sick time!

de Blasio is so far left, he’s coming around again.
Sit back and watch him hatch schemes designed to destroy what’s left of NYC.

Well, yet another reason for realistic business leaders to depart—before DeBlasio begins to charge an “exit tax”.
To: Antoninus II
a business with 5 employees is not a big booming business....its a small tailor shop or a small deli....
and with that small a number of workers, you can't afford anyone to be sick let alone pay them to stay home and be sick....its just life...

5 sick days and $15 an hour for the small shop.
Sounds like a plan...

NYC is being run by a communist mental case.

To: Olog-hai; All
NY has produced a TV commercial which entices businesses to move to NY by not having to pay taxes for ten years; something like that. But this policy weakens the incentive of the tax break imo.
