'Lone Survivor' and How Film Critics Smear Navy SEALs (critics saying movie is racist)

"Lone Survivor" is a true life story of a Navy SEAL raid in Afghanistan against a Taliban target that goes horribly wrong. Of the four man team, only one, Marcus Luttrell, survived to tell the tail.

By all accounts audiences are flocking to the movie, which depicts how the SEALs sacrificed themselves by refusing to execute a group of goat herders who had stumbled upon them, who then exposed them to the Taliban. The team subsequently was obliged to fight for their lives against an overwhelming force of the terrorists in a stand that might be compared to the Alamo, Thermopylae, or the epic of Flight 93.

"Lone Survivor" is being called a piece of "racist" and "jingoistic" war propaganda in certain quarters.

Makes complete sense from a liberal worldview. White guys shooting brown guys is racist, and they were indoctrinated to see American soldiers as imperialistic oppressors. Its all part of the “hate America” package.

If you explain to your daughter, the essence of love, devotion, honor, service, loyalty, family, loved ones played out in this most magnifcent movie, she will better understand what the “real” American life experience is. I do believe that most women should see this movie, because when their loved ones are in harm’s way, get wounded or killed in the service of our country......they feel the hurt and pain of losing a loved one the most, or, taking care of them after serious wounding, etc.

Yes....the movie is violent, yes.....there is much cursing....but it is a story of the heart and soul of very special Americans, both men & women that serve our country with loyalty, dedication and love for their brothers and sisters in arms. Suggestion: Take your young lady to see what will be an epic movie for today’s time and for all eternity!!! As I have said in a previous post, all “Americans” should see this special film.

My wife....who is queasy, loved it, especially the rolling montage at the end of the movie, depicting “The Seals” in their private lives with family, children, loved ones, girlfriends and wives!!! You will cry in love and honor of these men and the women and families, and loved ones that supported and loved them dearly!!!

The conviction of what it feels to witness something that noble is just too much for their demented minds to handle.

You are spot on. For the Libs, watching this movie will inspire pride in our country and military. But this is the antithesis of their core beliefs; that belief is that America is fundamentally flawed and the military is a manifested perversion of these flaws. Therefore the Libs must reject those "feelings" and dismiss the movie with their "go-to" rebuttal, racism. They are cowards indeed.

Watched the ending twice.

The boss came out of her lair to perform her occassional harpy routine.

I had disturbed her 1,000 year sleep and the awesome explosion from the Missouri guns must have pierced that pathetic coffin she was resting in.

800 watts of killer bass will do that.....I suppose.

I put on the wireless headphones for the rerun.

I told her I could call a Whawmbulance if she was. injured...

Pretty sure I’m gonna pay for that one til for a day or so.
