Wimp factor aside, I'm trying to grasp the physics of this event. What does the helmet weigh, 10 ounce maybe? With what force under the pull of gravity did it hit the man's foot and at what angle to cause $600,000 worth of damage to-of all things-his Achilles tendon? This is at the
back of the foot, after all.
This seems too preposterous to be entirely made up but it should be interesting to see him try to prove it.
