ObamaCare dooming Democrats for the fall (O/Care's "Promised Land" a Dem dump)

In 2009, retiring Arkansas Rep. Marion Berry presciently warned that ObamaCare was setting up Democrats for a huge 2010 midterm defeat; just as “HillaryCare” led to Democrat loss of 54 House seats in 1994.

Obama scoffed at such concerns; he told Berry, “Well, the big difference here is you’ve got me.”

Republicans went on to win 63 House seats and six Senate seats.....the largest swing to Repubs in the House since 1938. So Oama was right---the difference was him.

Liberals are still convinced their vision is what America wants and needs and that Obama is the right man to give it to us. Assuming Republicans don’t immolate themselves — always a possibility — that vision will receive yet another massive rebuke in November.

The question will be whether liberals question the soundness of their faith or that the fault lies with the false prophet who failed to deliver them to the promised land.

The Senate just passed (as part of the budget act) a section that has, in fact, set into law the IRS policy on conservative groups, and it’s going to be much worse this election than the last one. There was an excellent analysis of this in the WSJ today.

The Dems openly attribute the fact that they did not do worse in the last election to their ability to use the IRS to suppress these groups, and what they did, as one writer pointed out, was to “reverse engineer” this law, that is, to analyze what was most successful in destroying conservative groups and then write it into law.

Republicans, except for those who voted against the funding "compromises", are going to be blamed for Obamacare. The only thing opponents are going to have to do is exploit campaign contributions to them from insurance companies and other businesses that will profit from Obamacare.

And what's more astounding is that Dems are heralded by the Entitlement Crowd for this so-called "ability"----and why Boobamba seems unconcerned as 2012 approaches.
