Good point. With the Trillions already spent world wide on the “War on Drugs”, they probably could have found a cure for addiction by now.
But then nobody would be getting rich from drug sales, government blank checks and seizures.
I'm more anxiously awaiting the cure for out-of-control goobermint. Course that's a lot harder to cure than mere addiction.
