Jeb Bush takes on immigration, education in Jacksonville speech (Jeb's demented defense of Amnesty)
Florida Times Union ^ | 1/17/14 | Joe Daraskevich

Posted on 01/17/2014 8:23:47 AM PST by jimbo123

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush defended immigrants and weaved together ideas about immigration, education and the plight of youths in a speech Thursday night at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts.

-snip-

Bush said a population pyramid with more young people at its base is important because the youth support the elderly.

He explained that in China the pyramid is becoming inverted because they are trying to control population and as a result the elderly are going to outnumber the young.

He said immigrants in the United States are usually young and if they were allowed to stay legally they would fill the bottom of our pyramid.

When I was young they promoted birth control (and discouraged people from having large families) because the world was overpopulated.

Yet we have to fill in the bottom of the pyramid. Overpopulated. Not enough people.

I’ve seen it with my own eyes. You wipe out a million babies every year through abortion, and import a million illegals on top of another million legal immigrants, and over a couple of decades you will see a real demographic shift. And we’re seeing it and we’re still not changing directions.

Our betters have decided they need a new citizenry, so they are replacing us.

He'll need to change his name if he wants to win.

Assuming he wants to win, that is, as close as the Bushes are with the Clintons.

And with us our bothersome ideas of individual sovereignty.

“...passing Amnesty against the will of their constituents.”

Didn't you hear? Their constituents are the large donor crony capitalists obsessed with ushering in the NWO. Tea Party folks and other like-minded Americans are irrelevant to the Whigs...I mean the Republicans.

Actually, he’s right. Go to Miami and you will see a place that is thriving because of young immigrants, legal or illegal. They’re the right type of immigrants, too; they’ve come here to work, and haven’t been imported from the ME by the federal government to live on welfare and build bombs. Oh, wait...those are legal immigrants....

We need to legalize the workers and deport the ones the federal government brought in.

Bush supports Amnesty and Common Core. He wants the “el-heffe economy” of Central and South America.

Get lost! NO BUSHES.

Three percent of Americans care about ‘immigration reform’... and it Gallop asked they would discover 90% of us DO NOT want illegals made legal. No more Bushes - no more Clintons - no more Kennedys.

Being born into an elite grouping is not the same as being qualified.

Three percent of Americans care about ‘immigration reform’...97 don’t care. IF Gallop asked they would discover 90% of us DO NOT want illegals made legal. No more Bushes - no more Clintons - no more Kennedys.

Being born into an elite grouping - or being a relative of one - is NOT the same as being qualified.

He’s our next president, barring anything weird happening.

I’m THIS far from offering wagers...but it’s a little too soon.

But he’s obviously the Big Money’s choice, and that’s what counts.

Who votes for President is irrelevant.

The Constitution says the Electoral College decides, and the Big Money controls that.

There is not a chance in the world a moderate republican will win.

Exactly why the media will start pimping this guy hard in the coming months. They think Christie is toast and they'll default to the next RINO who they know cannot win nationally!

deport the ones the federal government brought in

By looking the other way, by non-enforcement, the federal government "brought in" the Mexican illegals.

The motive was cheap labor and Democrat votes, even though it hurt their traditional constituency.

Everything government has a hand in turns to dross. Instead of the best immigrants, the federal government attracted the worst.

The motive is now tax revenue, which we want to extract from criminals.

We will pay a steep price for decades of cheap landscaping.
