You are aware that most early cheap hotels in the US, particularly in frontier areas, had 2 or even 3 men sleeping in the same bed, no?

It’s more comfortable to sleep alone; if the only place you can sleep is in a bed with another person or persons of the same sex - or even of the opposite sex, in some places - that’s what you do. You’re sleeping with them, literally.

But if you don’t have to do it, you won’t. And now that the whole thing has been sexualized, nobody’s going to want to share a bed unless they’re unconscious and have been dragged in there from a blizzard.

Note that in frigid temperatures, the sharing of body warmth can save a life (hence the name of the band "Three Dog Night"). That's how the squirrels in the trees around my house brave the winter chill.

That said, the perversion of sexuality by gays has caused us to forget the natural remedies.
