i wish that were the case, but i think the 47% people are looking for freebies, and a real conservative needs to make the case that if you teach someone to fish, they can feed themselves, and don’t have to depend on Uncle Sam’s generosity. you just have to hope that these folks have enough self respect to consider that as a viable option.
If you start off 47% in the hole why nominate a liberal who isn’t going to appeal to the base? It makes no sense.
This is true but not all of them vote. Many are too lazy to make the effort.
A real conservative that ran as a populist would not only bring the conservative vote out but all those millions of voters that sit out because they are tired of voting for the same two idiots the Republicrat/Dumbocan Party digs up every four years.
