WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Obama administration is delaying enforcement of a provision of the new healthcare law that prohibits employers from providing better health benefits to top executives than to other employees, the New York Times reported on Saturday.

Does he not like the idea that dear leader might get the same care as the peasants?
Wonder if this could be one of the things he is delaying so that business leaders who are aligned with the Chamber of Commerce continue to help with the push for amnesty? They want the cheap labor but you certainly wouldn’t expect the CEO’s to have the same quality of healthcare as them now would you?
Well, to tell you the truth, I would like CEOs that hire illegal immigrants to get EXACTLY the same health care.
It’s tough thinking all this up on the golf course.
All it will take is for one employee to sue one company based upon unequal coverage (kind of like the coverage that congressmen get compared to their aides). Any judge worth his salt will look at the law as written and rule accordingly, throwing the whole mess into chaos. And Obama alone will be to blame.
Bump
They will have the same coverage. The committee that decides who gets an exemption to obtain paid treatment will be fixed.
Just like Congress.
DK
If that is true, why isn’t Congress in court challenging these Exec Orders?
This is what happens when a bunch of people in Washington get together and pass a Federal law that is completely disconnected from reality.
Just another story we can comment on, until we are blue in the face. Cue the jokes and cleaver retorts.

Has FR become POP ?
WTF ?
I want to effect a change, a real change, and I need, we all need the support and feedback of this community to make it happen.
Sorry to vent like this, but I know we can actually make a difference.
FR is missing a huge opportunity.
Good call.
I’m convinced he goes to the golf course so often for privacy.
The obamacare bill should have only been one sentence.
“whatever Obama says is the law and is subject to change on his whims”.
“Delaying enforcement” means nothing to a company who abides by rules. Obama hopes to put this off until after the election. He’ll find the cancellation notices to 80 million people (half who voted for the Democrats) will proceed on schedule.
Im convinced he goes to the golf course so often for privacy.
And to get away from his family. I never seen a story about him taking his kids to the golf course.
Please do not believe I am an Obama apologist. I oppose most everything he has attempted, but....
Reflecting back on my executive career, I know that several of my most profound business decisions were reached as I basked in the morning sun on a ski lift.
And to smoke.
