Pretty much as I see it also. Let me just say one thing... "The Outlaw Josey Wales"... only Eastwood could have pulled that off perfectly... The Duke in "True Grit"... the only man that could have pulled it off perfectly... proved recently. Bogey in "Casablanca"... not even arguable.

"Jeremiah Johnson" could have been played by someone else... possibly even better. I just have never thought that crater face was a good actor. Newman, another man that I despise, was a great thespian. I'll give him his due respect for his abilities. redford reminds my of some high school drama queen that became successful... like miley cyrus has become "successful".

Agreed.

Bogey was a leftist Dhimmicrat to a point. He drank the hollyweird Koolaid. Though I do believe he was more of a real man than his hollyweird friends would have liked.
